The local community of Trang during the seagrass transplanting activity in the Sikao bay.
This project, involving the young generation, started in 2004 after a severe storm hit the coasts destroying large part of the seabed.
The PH and the 02 level in the water begun to gradually changed, resulting in a loss of biodiversity.
Thanks to these continuous efforts by the local community, since 2018 the seagrass planted in the beginning of the project have
totally developed. The ecosystem slowly recovered its health status with a noticeably increase of the fish fauna.

Democratic Republic of the Congo, North Kivu, Masisi, Rubaya. 14/09/2013. The armed rebel movement of the Nyatura was formed by the secession, in 2010, of the CNDP rebel movement, now called M23. Formed mostly by Congolese Hutu, they are led by Colonel Marcel Habarugira. Today some of these rebels have been reintegrated into the regular Congolese army F.A.R.D.C. Without any form of salary, they survive by bullying. through abuse of power, abuse of civilians, raiding night and day and demanding a 10% tax on all forms of activity in the city of Rubaya.
