The in-depth analysis area this year will feature the exclusive work of many masters of nature and environmental photography. These one-of-a-kind images are part of a collection that will be offered in the Vital Impact Print Sale beginning in October 2023 through January 2024. The profits will support the Reteti Elephant Sanctuary in Kenya, the first indigenous-owned and-run elephant sanctuary in Africa. The funds will help the sanctuary send 13 elephants who had been orphaned back to the wild so they can again integrate with wild herds. This is a story the National Geographic photographer Ami Vitale has been working on since the sanctuary began in 2016.
