🇮🇹 Questa è la storia della famiglia Barri: Amnon, Tamar, e i loro figli Malmalu, Paamon e Achu. Amnon, artista circense e Tamar, una pittrice, si sono incontrati per strada. Tamar stava viaggiando sul suo van mentre Amnon faceva l’autostop. I due hanno scoperto il loro amore al Rainbow Festival, in Israele. Da lì hanno viaggiato verso il Kenya, in Africa, dove, in una tenda di una tribù africana, è nata la loro prima figlia. Un anno dopo, la famiglia Barri è tornata in Israele, di nuovo sul vecchio van di Tamar che sentono come casa. In uno scenario che vede lo stile di vita tipicamente dipendente dalle notizie, l’esistenza che conduce questa coppia distaccata dalla realtà e rilassata sembra quasi strana e poco in linea con la cultura israeliana.
🇬🇧 This is the story of the Barri family – Amnon, Tamar, and their children Malmalu, Paamon, and Achu. Amnon, a circus man and Tamar, a painter, met on the road. Tamar was travelling in her van and Amnon was hitchhiking. The two discovered their love for one another at the Rainbow Festival, in Israel. From there they wandered to Kenya, Africa, and there, in an African tribe tent, their daughter was born. A year later, the Barri’s returned to Israel, to Tamar’s old van. This is home. In the background of the hectic news addict Israeli way of life, the scene of this detached relaxed couple looks almost suspicious and non-Israeli.
