THE LIVES OF OTHERS AREA
This exhibition area aims to delve into the extraordinary anthropological and cultural variety of peoples, to be discovered and preserved because therein lies the word “humanity” as a universal value.
WORLD REPORT AWARD 2023 AREA
The World Report Award is the international competition of the Festival of Lodi, which aims to give voice and support to the social commitment of photographers and is aimed at all Italians and foreigners, professionals and not. The subject is humanity with its public and private events, its small and big stories; the social phenomena, the customs, the civilizations, the great tragedies and the small daily joys, the changes and the immutability.
OFFICIAL WORLD PRESS PHOTO EXHIBITION 2023
The World Press Photo is the world’s most prestigious international photojournalism competition. The WPP recognizes and celebrates quality photojournalism and documentary photography produced in the past year and organizes the world’s largest annual photo exhibition.
A GLANCE ON THE WORLD AREA
The Festival of Italian Photojournalism could not miss a space dedicated to the events that have marked, in the last year, the news and the lives of so many people in a global and interconnected world. An area dedicated to know reality, to understand it and to be able to change it.
IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS AREA AND OUTDOOR AREA
Two exhibit areas dedicated to all those who would like to discover our planet and learn more about how to protect it. Indoor and outdoor areas to immerse yourself in photography.
VARIOUS AUTHORS
Giardini Viale IV Novembre
ELEGIA LODIGIANA
Telling the story of the territory in which you live and where you are immersed every day is not a simple task. Being objective and knowing how to look inside, starting from one’s roots to arrive at the present made of lights and shadows, is an exciting challenge.
NONPROFIT AREA
The historical section of the Festival is inspired by reports commissioned by non-profit organizations on the territories and themes in which they operate. Voices and testimonies that we can know only thanks to the effort of photographers engaged directly in the field. Once again, the image is the engine for change.
DAVIDE TORBIDI FOR CGIL CAMERA DEL LAVORO
Chiostro dell’Ospedale Vecchio
MUNICIPALITY PARTNER AREA
Montanaso, an official partner municipality of the 14th edition, will host the exhibition that won last year’s Spotlight category of the World Report Award, offering a high-quality cultural proposal to its citizens.
