Droa – Georgia on the move

🇮🇹 La Georgia, situata all’estremità orientale dell’Europa, è coinvolta nella tensione di un conflitto tra il riorientamento filo-occidentale e la sfera di influenza storicamente russa che si riflette nell’intera società. Questa è una ricerca fotografica dell’identità di un paese tra il sogno dell’Europa, la paura della Russia e le conseguenze di anni di oppressione.

🇬🇧 Georgia, located at the easternmost end of Europe, is caught in the tension of a conflict between pro-Western reorientation and the historically Russian sphere of influence, which is reflected in the entire society. This is a photographic search for the identity of a country between the dream about Europe, the fear of Russia and the consequences from years of oppression.
