🇮🇹 La guerra in Ucraina va avanti dalla primavera del 2014. Il progetto della fotografa ha come obiettivo quello di mostrare quanto la propaganda e la disinformazione possano essere dannose. Vediamo persone della stessa nazionalità combattere tra di loro, pronte ad uccidere. Questa guerra non ha come unico scopo la conquista di territori specifici, villaggi e campagne, ma è anche una guerra per l’identità. Tra coloro che si identificano come ucraini, russi e abitanti del Donbass. Il loro credo è ciò che li motiva a combattere sul fronte.
🇬🇧 The war in Ukraine has been going on since the spring of 2014. Her project aims to show how destructive the use of propaganda and disinformation can be. We are observing people of the same nationality standing against each other, ready to kill. This war is not only about conquering specific territories, villages and fields, but it is a conflict over identity too. Between those who identify as Ukrainians, Russians, and locals from Donbass. Their beliefs are what motivates them to fight on the frontlines.
