Everyone in me is a bird

🇮🇹 6 anni fa, la fotografa ha perso suo fratello in seguito ad un improvviso attacco cardiaco. Da quel giorno in poi, il dolore l’ha sempre accompagnata. D’altra parte però, la scomparsa del fratello le ha dato il dono di percepire la vita in modo diverso. Un mese dopo la sua morte ha scoperto di essere incinta. Dividendosi tra la sua patria scelta, l’Argentina, e quella nativa, la Germania, questo lavoro annulla le distanze, muovendosi tra tempo, stagioni, paesi e spazio. Attraverso le sue immagini, ricercate la magia nella quotidianità, cosa significa vivere, perdere, e soprattutto, amare.

🇬🇧 6 years ago, the photographer lost her brother to sudden cardiac death. From that day on, grief has accompanied her. But when her brother passed away, he gave her the gift of perceiving life differently. A month after his death she found out she was pregnant. Transcending between her chosen home-country, Argentina, and her native Germany, this work undoes distance, moving between time, seasons, countries, and space. Through her images, look for the magic in the ordinary, what it means to live, to lose, and most of all, to love.
