Symbiosis

🇮🇹 Symbiosis è un progetto a lungo termine che dimostra l’interconnessione tra diverse questioni legate al cambiamento climatico, come ad esempio l’acidificazione degli oceani, l’aumento delle temperature, la perdita di biodiversità, l’innalzamento del livello del mare e l’erosione costiera. Il progetto indaga l’impatto diretto che questi fenomeni hanno sull’ambiente e, conseguentemente, sulla vita di coloro che abitano in prossimità delle coste. Lo scopo principale di questo lavoro è quello di mostrare soluzioni positive che le comunità locali così come quella scientifica, stanno adottando al fine di preservare l’ecosistema marino per il nostro futuro.

🇬🇧 Symbiosis is a long-term project that demonstrates the interconnection of climate change related issues such as ocean acidification, rising temperatures, biodiversity loss, sea level rise and coastal erosion. It investigates how these phenomena affect firsthand the environment and consequently the life of the populations living on the coasts. The main goal of the project is showing positive solutions that both local and scientific communities are undertaking to preserve the marine ecosystem for our future.
